In English, Feng Shui (pronounced "Fung Shway") translates to wind and water. Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese science that addresses the layout of cities, villages, dwellings, and buildings. Some incorrectly say it is synonymous with geomancy, an unfortunate misnomer courtesy of 19th-century Christian missionaries, but it is not. A more recent definition, heavily flavored by the New Age movement, explains Feng Shui as the arrangement of objects within a home to obtain an optimum flow of Ch'i (pronounced Chee). In rural China, Feng Shui is used to obtain health, family harmony, and prosperity; Ch'i flow is rarely mentioned.

Almost every culture of the world reflects some awareness of the power of arrangement, like Feng Shui. It is this ancient legacy that Feng Shui practitioners seek to enliven, embrace, uphold and share. At the deepest level of understanding, Feng Shui is the coexistence of our surroundings and energy. Feng Shui acknowledges the interconnectedness of all creation.

But some people of the modern day are less interested in things like their Ch'i flow, and more interested in the Cash Flow surrounding Feng Shui. So the question stands: Can Feng Shui bring me wealth? The answer isn't a simple yes or no. Feng Shui can create a harmonious environment that improves a person's health, the clarity of mind and alertness. In this regard, you will have the energy and wisdom to deal with a lot of things including making money. Good Feng Shui does not bring you wealth if you do not go for it but it should improve your drive to seek fame and fortune.
