With all the different Feng Shui products on the Web today, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out which are right for you. So before you rush out and buy a bunch of Feng Shui products, there are some facts you should know. Not all Feng Shui products are right for everybody and some if used incorrectly can have a very negative influence. Since everyone's life circumstances are different, it is always best to seek the guidance of an experienced Feng Shui practitioner. There are, however, many basic Feng Shui products that can be applied to many situations and here we showcase a few basic Feng Shui products that work all-around when used carefully.

A couple very useful Feng Shui products for outside of the home or business are Bagua mirrors. Bagua mirrors are powerful and respected tools for manipulating energy in the environment. It is believed that the already powerful effect of a mirror is amplified when surrounded by the eight trigrams, or tools of life, that are placed in perfect balance around the octagonal frame of the mirror. The two types of Bagua mirrors have either a convex or concave shape. Be aware that because of their power, the basic rule for the layperson is that Bagua mirrors are used only on the outside of a space or structure.

Convex mirrors deflect undesirable energy or objects that are reflected in them. These are good Feng Shui products because the negativity cannot get a foothold and is sent back from where it came from, and they work well when deflecting energy from inauspicious structures, the chaos from a busy street outside a home, or troublesome neighbors. But concave mirrors act like little bowls that collect and multiply the energy reflected in them and excellent Feng Shui products since they are used to magnify positive energy, such as that from a beautiful garden or natural scene.

Some other very popular Feng Shui products are wind chimes. There are many types of wind chimes with different make and number of rods. Some available in the market of Feng Shui products are made of metal, wood and even bamboo. Rods can come in 4, 5, 6, 8 or even 24. For metal rods, the question of whether they should be hollow or solid doesn't really matter. What matters is that the rods produce the metal sound, which in turn effectively weaken harmful Ch'i energy.
